About me
Hi, I am Shawn. I am a current third-year student at McMaster University in the Mathematics and Statistics Co-Op Program. I am currently on a study term looking for analyst and research opportunities for Spring-Summer 2026! Over my time at McMaster, I have gained experience in many fields of mathematical and statistical study and participated in multiple projects. My current projects include assisting in a thesis paper on abstract geometry and using PostgreSQL and Power BI visualisation tools to analyse the 2020 NBA Draft, 6 years into their careers, and redraft them based on their statistical impact.

Using PSTGRESSQL and Power BI with a database of the 2020 NBA Draft from Basketball Reference to analyse how the players are doing 6 years into their careers and redraft them based on their statistical impact.

Math Thesis Paper
Assisting in writing a thesis paper on abstract geometry, specifically, research in spacetime charged harmonic functions and their mass applications, trying to generalise the proof behind the spacetime positive mass theorem to include an electric field.

Influence of Drugs on the Body Using 2 Mathematical Models
With three other individuals, we analysed the impact of drugs in the human body using two different types of Mathematical Models, presenting a write-up with models developed in RStudio.
